Sara's daughter

Sara is the first name that i get to know, beside pastors, in Eight Mile Plains Church, and this cute little girl is the daughter of hers. This pictures was taken one sunday after the sunday service. It was a bright sunny day, and the girl obviously is so excited and running around on the lawn. She was a little bit camera shy and once she noticed i was taking her photos she hide into her mum. Its always not easy to shoot someone under the bright sun but with a bit of post production, i think they still look not too bad. Hope you all will like her too.

Faces of Church Camp

Had the Church Camp during the last Anzac Day. I didnt do a lot of shooting, as i had seen too many cameras already flying here and there, so i just didnt bother. but during one lunch, I manage to capture some of the faces of the campers. I guess they all look pretty natural to me, as most of them probably didnt know that i was shooting at them. So, yea, Natural is the theme for this series. ENjoy.

Buaya

Buaya, the Malay word for crocodile. In Kuching, if you called a girl Buaya, it simply mean she is like a Dinosaur or Hippopotamus, and please stay away from her as her look got the capability to scare the shit out of you. My home state Sarawak is a state that boast of the famous crocodile legend, Bujang Senang. Some said he is dead, while some believe he is still roaming freely somewhere. This is my first experience shooting crocodile, its a bit challenging as i think i lack of patience under the hot sun... Anyway, share with you my "Buaya".

Chung Leong and Isabel

Chung Leong and Isabel are my friends back to my time in Adelaide. Chung Leong, a good mate in church, a good opponent on basketball field, though we didnt really talk a lot, but it was always a good thing to hang out with him. Isabel, sweet and naive, of course, is a sweet sister to get around in church. Last Dec i had the opportunity to shoot for their wedding. And honestly, i didnt think i did great enough as that was my first time in shooting a proper wedding. However, it is a great learn experience, specially being able to shoot beside Sean, comfort me a lot on my anxiety. Anyway, that was also a special experience, as thats the first wedding photoshoot that i received Red Packet. First earning is always special. Congratulation to Leong, and Isabel.

David and Shirley

David and Shirley is getting married on 26th December 2009. This is the only wedding during my trip back in which i was put in charge as a lead photographer. I was so nervous, as wedding is a once in a life time thing and i didnt really want to spoil the party. i get more nervous when i see my name was actually printed in the bulletin as photographer. i sweated a lot that day, and that could tell how nervous i was. Honestly i am really thankful to David and Shirley for putting their trust to me, and i do hope i did not disappoint their expectation. Apart from being nervous, all the venues were very unfamiliar to me, so meaning i need to adapt myself quick for anything that happened around me. It was a fun experience overall, with Shirley, of course looked gorgeous on the day. Sincerely i wish you two, a happy wedding, and a blessed life ahead...
