I bought this Portugese Egg Slices couple days ago. well the first reason that I would buy this is because of its packaging. it is a very big steel container with the height of my palm. Plus, better still, its only sold for $5.90. Sounds to be too good to be true, but hey, it is cheap.
When i opened the lid, it was only like 3 quarter full.... a bit disappointed, cheated by marketing strategy again...but nevermind, since its such a big container, 3 quarters still acceptable with the price...
and then, hang on, i saw something white beneath. I took out the bag of egg slices, aha, guess what, a plastic foam beneath...
judging from the thickness of the foam, its about one quarter thick of the container. Well, so, i lost a quarter at the top and a quarter at the bottom, so basically half of the container spaces are filled with air only. what a successful marketing strategy....
so, if sometimes something sounds to be too good to be true, it probably is....
